Website Privacy
Our website does collect information that personally identifies individuals when that information is provided to us, by you, on a voluntary basis. This may include but is not limited to individual information (such as your email address and phone number), company information (such as your company’s address), and/or other identifying information that you voluntarily choose to provide to us, including without limitation unique identifiers such as passwords, personal information in messages you send to us. We will tell you why we are asking for the information, for example, when you complete registration forms to potentially participate in a clinical trial with Celerion, to assess your suitability for a career opportunity you have applied for, or send you newsletters you have requested. Data that may be requested in such instances may include your name, email, phone number, date of birth, nationality, and other health information that may be needed to complete your request. You may freely choose not to register. By providing your information to Celerion, you are expressly agreeing to Celerion’s processing of such information fully in accordance with this policy and the purposes identified at the time of request.
Why We Collect, Use, and Share Your Information
We use your personal information for business purposes, as explained in this Privacy Policy, including with our partners and service providers:
- To follow laws and complete audits related to our interactions with you.
- To find and prevent security issues, fraud, and illegal activities, and to protect our rights.
- To provide and improve our services (by us or our service providers).
- For our internal business operations.
- For occasional, short-term uses.
- To communicate with you where you have requested that Celerion do so, including for example about upcoming clinical trials you may be interested in participating in.
Traffic Data
To use certain parts of the website, you agree that we can collect information about how you interact with such parts. This includes data we gather automatically, such as when you open, click, or forward content. We may collect details like the website or search engine that led you to us, your IP address, how long you stayed, which pages you viewed, the device and browser you used, how often you visit, and other similar usage information, together referred to as “Traffic Data.”
Tracking Tools
We also collect information (including personal information and Traffic Data) when you use and interact with the website, and in some cases from third party sources. Such means of collection include:
- When you access, use, or contact us through the website.
- When you voluntarily provide information through the website.
- If you use a location-enabled browser, we may receive information about your location and device.
- Through Cookies, Web Beacons, analytics services, and other tracking technologies (collectively, “Tracking Tools”).

-
Cookies
This Celerion website may employ “cookies”. These are small files stored in your computer that identify users entering a website. These cookies allow us to direct you to your preferred Celerion subsection and enable statistical analyses of how our website is used. This allows us to measure interest in various sections of the site so we can improve design and content to serve you better. You can learn more about cookies and how to manage them at www.allaboutCookies.org, or by adjusting your settings in your web browser (like Chrome, Safari, or Edge). Keep in mind, changing these settings may affect how parts of the website work.
-
Web Beacons
Web Beacons are tiny image files in webpages or emails that help us track things like how many people visit the site or open our emails.
-
Analytics Tools
Analytics Tools from third parties may track things like mouse clicks, scrolling, or what you type. This helps us understand how people use the site and improve it. These tools typically don’t collect personal information unless you give it to us.
-
Mobile Device Identifiers
Mobile Device Identifiers are used on phones and tablets to learn about how you use the website. They can track activity on your device and collect info like location, device ID, and other technical details to help us personalize your experience.
-
Opt Out and Do Not Track
If you gave us consent to use Cookies, you can withdraw that consent anytime by contacting us at privacy@celerion.com. Just know that if you do, you may need to give consent again to use certain parts of the website.
You can block Cookies or mobile device tracking by changing your browser or device settings. However, if you do, some features of the website may not work properly. You can also opt out of certain types of advertising Cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative or Digital Advertising Alliance websites, or by installing the DAA’s AppChoices app on your mobile device.
Even if you opt out of targeted ads, you may still see Celerion’s ads, they just won’t be personalized. Also, opting out doesn’t stop all tracking. Celerion may still collect data and show ads based on how you use the website.
This Privacy Policy doesn’t cover how third parties use Cookies or tracking tools. Some may still track you even after you leave the website.
Some browsers (like Chrome or Firefox) offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting, but there’s no official standard, and many websites, including Celerion’s, don’t respond to DNT signals.
However, we do recognize certain newer opt-out tools like the Global Privacy Control (GPC), which lets your browser or device send a signal to stop the sale or sharing of your personal information. If we detect this signal, we will honor it as required by law.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
We use AI technology to improve your experience with the website. This includes automatically analyzing how you use the website, like what you click, view, or search, to personalize content, ads, and features for you. Our AI collects data you give us directly and indirectly through your use of the website. This includes but is not limited to:
- What pages you visit, links you click, and searches you make
- Device info like your IP address, browser type, and language
- Your location, based on your IP or device GPS
Our AI may make certain decisions automatically, such as recommending content based on your past activity or detecting fraud by flagging unusual behavior. We use AI responsibly by regularly auditing our systems for fairness and accuracy, having humans monitor and step in when needed, and following all privacy laws and making sure your data is used properly and securely.
You have the right to:
- Ask for an explanation of any AI-based decision and challenge it
- Opt out of certain uses of your data, such as personalized ads
- Access, correct, or delete data used by our AI
- Learn how AI decisions are made and what they might mean for you
By using the website, you agree to this use of AI. We recommend checking your privacy settings regularly to make sure they match your preferences. If you have questions or concerns about how we use AI or automated decisions, contact us at privacy@celerion.com.
